Number of Units Sold: 20 1987 would be a strange year for the Banos. Coming off of their most successful year ever, the band took a deserved rest. It didn't help that Stano Bano was still stuck in his dressing room, and had resigned himself to staying there. The remaining brothers went into their tape archives and dusted off enough previously unreleased songs and alternate takes to flesh out an album of rare recordings. The hope was this would buy them some time to regroup and repeat the success of Sal de Bano. The album sold poorly, and although the boys didn't expect huge sales, they didn't expect it to be so poorly received. Still, for the avid fan this is an interesting collection of songs that mark the band's early recordings. The Good the Bad and the Banos also features two rare tracks featuring Winston and Mitchell Finster. |
