Holy
smokes (I'm not referring to consecrated cigarettes) it's already September.
This means something, but at the moment I have no idea what it truly signifies.
My brain is a little foggy at the moment. Rather than ramble on,
I suppose I should find a focus in a hurry here before I run out of space.
I've decided that I'll talk about philandering . . . I mean philanthropy. Anyway, once again I find myself in the odd position of being a weird sort of ambassador for the cause of philanthropy. I love to goof about, and be silly, but there are a couple of things I can be pretty darn serious about. One of them is trying to make where I live a better place. I know I'm not going to save the world, but I am cocky enough to say that my community is a better place because I'm part of it. Some of you may be saying, "Gee Jev, that's pretty darn arrogant." My response doesn't translate well on paper, but I'll try and give you a visual. Close your eyes. Ready? Imagine that you're sitting down, and it's quiet. Are you with me? Suddenly the silence is broken by the sound of a huge raspberry being blown on your belly. That's my response. Okay, you can open your eyes now. Where ever you live there are countless ways of doing something positive that'll touch your life, and the lives of those around you. Take a look around you, give a little back. Heck, if you're feeling ambitious, give a lot back. Go ahead - I dare ya! Jevster,
