I discovered that a bunch of reviews and stuff I wrote last year went missing. Dang. Some of it was pretty darn funny too. Now I'm stuck, trying to either rewrite, or just forget about it. Lucky for me you'll never know - unless it was something you sent to me to review. Then a private message giving me shit will inspire me to get it done. The saying goes "Music can calm the savage beast". With the passing of Larry Norman last month, it got me thinking about the power of music, especially during one's formative years. The ability to write music people can identify with is an extraordinary gift. It literally changes lives. The reason I mention this is that as much as I love music, I find that as I get older there are very few artists who truly move me. I read a lot of stuff by the youth of today who speak about being touched, and changed by artists and music that I can't see what the fuss is. Every generation creates their own heroes. Which is as it should be. Jevon the Tall
